Elizabeth A. Whooley, D.C. is a 1998 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO. Besides earning a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Whooley also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. She had previously earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Merrimack College in North Andover, MA in 1994. Having passed all four parts of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Dr. Whooley is also licensed in the state of Rhode Island to provide physiotherapy to her patients.
Dr. Whooley joined Malchar Chiropractic in May 2007. Dr. Whooley works in a close relationship with Dr. Victoria Malchar to provide comprehensive chiropractic and nutritional care for their patients.
Dr. Whooley is also currently working with Keith Rafal, M.D. at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island in North Smithfield, RI. The majority of their patient base consists of those afflicted with Fibromyalgia Syndrome. Dr. Whooley works with Dr. Rafal and others to offer mainly non-pharmaceutical options for their patients, including chiropractic, acupuncture, nutritional counseling, mind-body approach counseling and Far Infrared Sauna therapy among other choices.
Dr. Whooley is a caring and compassionate physician who listens to each of her patients and works with them to choose a specific treatment plan for their condition. Exercise along with proper sleep, work and hobby ergonomics are often discussed to help stabilize the condition and strengthen the body.
